David is responsible for setting the vision and direction of the company, and oversees the business operations of the company. Mr. Kingland founded Kingland in 1992, and has guided the company to become a leader in providing software based solutions for some of the largest companies in the world. Prior to founding the company, he founded an SEC registered financial services firm.

Tony is responsible for strategy, growth, and executive leadership of the company. Mr. Brownlee served previously as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, head of business development, head of data solutions, and other management positions driving the company’s product and client growth since joining the company in 2003. Tony works actively with companies and industry associations around the world and is recognized throughout the data, financial services, and technology industries as a creative thought leader and “data nerd.”

Courtney is responsible for Kingland’s operations worldwide, including all software delivery, product management, client engagement, security, IT, accounting, and human resource functions. Courtney is a seasoned leader with a passion for continuous improvement and talent development. She has pioneered many of Kingland’s leading operational practices for quality, efficiency, and client success. Courtney joined Kingland in 2010 and has fulfilled roles in marketing, data operations, client engagement, business analytics, compliance, and other management positions before becoming the President in 2023.

Todd is responsible for finance, governance, legal and administrative oversight of the company. Mr. Rognes is a seasoned leader of private and public software and professional services businesses. Mr. Rognes previously served as CEO, President and CFO of Kingland, joining the company in 1999. He held several executive positions in the technology industry prior to joining Kingland.

Jason is a maker and constant innovator with over 25 years of experience architecting, designing, and leading Enterprise-scale software systems development and delivery. He has been instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering many of Kingland's software solutions and products and has consulted with fortune 500 companies on many software systems critical to their businesses. In addition, Jason loves to mentor and teach others and is a constant learner. As Kingland's CIO, Jason has responsibility for Software Design, Delivery, and Support, where he manages our delivery people, technology, and processes. Outside of Kingland, you can find Jason spending time with his family, helping software startups, remodeling houses, and spending time on the water.

Wally is a member of our Revenue team, where he develops effective strategies to meet the needs of the Public Accounting industry and other sectors. He has more than 30 years of experience in engaging international stakeholders helping manage risk, independence and regulatory compliance. Prior to Kingland, Mr. Gregory has held significant leadership roles at Deloitte and served as a board member for the Planning and Finance Committee of the IFAC Board. Mr. Gregory is currently a member of the PIOB Standard Setting Boards Nominating Committee and the AICPA Governing Council
Ron Jordan

Ron is responsible for leading the company’s client engagement functions, encompassing client relationship management and support and operations. Mr. Jordan has more than 40 years of experience in the financial industry working with industry-leading organizations such as DTCC and NYSE. He served 4 years as a member of the Financial Research Advisory Committee of the U.S. Treasury Office of Financial Research.

Matt currently serves as the SVP of Sales Engineering and overall Technology Evangelist for Kingland and is responsible for leading technology enablement and delivering confidence for Kingland’s integral enterprise software clients. An Iowa State University graduate in both Computer Science and Music, Matt has gained a variety of enterprise software experiences at Kingland, IBM and SPSS. He is directly focused on Kingland’s clients, enabling them for enterprise software business value and successful outcomes throughout their partnership with Kingland – all accomplished through his involvement in product management, sales engineering, and client solution architecture, within important client use cases of risk and compliance management, enterprise data management, and more.

Shane is responsible for overall cybersecurity, physical security, and data protection. This includes aspects of security operations, governance risk and compliance, security technology/engineering, and data privacy. Prior to Kingland, Mr. Jones was the Global Security Services Cybersecurity Operations Manager and the Sr. Information System Security Manager for Raytheon Missile and Defense, as well as time spent as an IG inspector for the US Air Force and a Software Engineer for the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Jon leads Kingland’s professional services implementation teams for Banking & Capital Markets. Mr. Allen also directs a staff focused on data cleansing and monitoring operations. He has over 20 years of experience in data analysis and software engineering, including data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data modeling projects.

Prior to joining Kingland, Jim spent over 20 years at IBM developing expertise in several domains but focusing on Operating System software development and Intellectual Property and Patenting development.

She is also responsible for operational improvement across all Kingland organizational units to meet Kingland’s strategic vision and business needs. She has 16 years of success in managing large complex software engineering, compliance, analytics, data quality and process improvement projects and programs.

Before assuming this position, Spalding served for eight years at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, most recently as senior vice president and senior advisor to Dartmouth’s president. Prior to Dartmouth, Spalding had a 29-year career in finance in New York City.

Azra Kanji is the Founding Partner of Astira Capital Partners (“Astira”), a middle-market private equity firm founded in 2023 primarily focused on investing in North American-based, B2B workflow solutions businesses in target areas including Governance, Risk, and Compliance (“GRC”), Government Technology, Financial Services and Marketing Services. Prior to founding Astira, Azra was a partner at Abry where she spent 20 years in the private equity strategy. While at Abry, Ms. Kanji led investments in companies in compliance, subscription information, logistics, marketing services, and travel and hospitality. Ms. Kanji was a partner at Abry since 2014, served as a Board Member of 20 companies during her tenure and served on the investment committee of Abry’s flagship fund. Prior to joining Abry, she was an investment banking analyst focused on telecommunications, media, and technology at Goldman Sachs. She graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics in 2001.
